Next year's Clacton Airshow dates already announced
The council estimates the event is worth more than £12 million to the local economy
The Clacton Airshow will be returning to the skies above the Essex coastline again next Summer, as organisers have confirmed the dates for next year's event.
The announcement follows another year where the seaside town saw fast jets, historic aircraft and dynamic aerobatic displays.
The event will be taking place next year on the 26th and 27th of August.
The 33rd annual event saw performances from the RAF Red Arrows, a Desert Spitfire and a range of other aircraft.
The event, which is organised by Tendring District Council, remains free. They estimate the event to be worth more than £12 million to the local economy.
Councillor Ivan Henderson, TDC Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Regeneration and Tourism, said: “Clacton Airshow has just given us another brilliant reminder of what makes this event so special for our district.
“For two days, the seafront was full of people enjoying world-class flying displays, family entertainment and the atmosphere that only Clacton Airshow can create.
“It brings visitors into the heart of the Essex Sunshine Coast, supports businesses, showcases our seafront and creates shared memories for residents, families and visitors.
“That success is down to a huge team effort, and I would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s show happen, from council staff and emergency services to sponsors, partners, traders, volunteers and everyone who supported the event.
“With the dates now confirmed for 2027, we can start looking ahead to welcoming people back for another unforgettable two days on Clacton seafront.”
