Man stabbed by gang of men in Leigh-on-Sea

Essex Police are now appealing for witnesses

An investigation is underway after a man was assaulted by a gang of men in Leigh-on-Sea over the weekend.

The victim says he was approached by the group in The Elms pub on Saturday night (10 May) before being followed to his vehicle on London Road, near the junction with Blenheim Crescent, around 11.45pm.

During the altercation, he suffered a stab wound to his lower leg and has received medical treatment at a hospital.

Essex Police say one of the men sought in connection with the attack is described as white, with brown hair, and wearing a grey tracksuit.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
