A 44-year-old from West Yorkshire, has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register after admitting to exposing himself at Stansted Airport.
Hardy Manaf appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on 9th March where he faced charges under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
He was fined £90 and ordered to pay over £200 in costs.
Manaf will also have to comply with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement following his admission of guilt.
On the day of the incident, 25th June last year, CCTV operators spotted Manaf acting disorderly, throwing items at road signs and posts, leading to his arrest.
He was previously arrested on warrant on 19th February after failing to attend a hearing.
Sergeant Mark Ghosh said: "This outcome sends a clear message: sexual offending will not be tolerated.
The court’s decision to place him on the Sex Offenders Register ensures he is closely monitored in the future and subject to strict legal requirements designed to protect the public.
We hope this provides reassurance that we will continue to act decisively against those who pose a risk to the community."
