Roman-Vien Klimas, 19, was found deceased at an address in Norman Crescent
Police have formally named the victim of an ongoing murder investigation in Brentwood.
Roman-Vien Klimas, 19, was found deceased at an address in Norman Crescent, after officers were called to concerns for his welfare on the evening of Sunday 19 October.
Irene Webb, 50, was also at the address and was arrested.
She has since been charged with murder, appearing for a preliminary hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday 22 October.
Webb remains in custody and will next appear at the same court for a further hearing on Monday 17 November.
This remains a sensitive investigation and Roman’s family is receiving support as officers continue enquiries.
Detective Inspector James Holmes said: “Roman’s family remain devastated and are struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
“I would please call for their privacy to be respected and for the public to refrain from sharing speculation or commentary which could cause further unnecessary upset.”
