Man dies after crash near Stansted Airport

The collision happened in the early hours of Sunday

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died during a crash near Stansted Airport.

Officers were to to the Esso service station on Start Hill at 2:30am on Sunday (18 May) where a silver Renault Megane had left the road.

Emergency services attended, including the air ambulance, but a man died a short time later. Police believe he's a Polish national British citizen in his 60s.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage of the crash is asked to come forward.
