A man has been jailed for ten years for sexual offences with a child.

42 year-old Daniel Mowle Apprentice Drive, Colchester, had denied multiple counts of sexual assault over a two-year period but was found guilty by a jury at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Following a sensitive and complex investigation Mowle was charged. He denied the offences and a trial was held in September, but the jury did not believe him, and he was convicted on 18 September.

He was also placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
