Man from Portsmouth charged with multiple offences in Essex

A man from Portsmouth has been charged with multiple offences committed in Essex.

25 year-old Jamie Williams has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm, stalking, coercive and controlling behaviour, intentional strangulation, intentional suffocation, making threats to kill, theft and two counts of criminal damage.

The offences were reported to have taken place between 2023 and 2026 in Corringham.

He will now appear at Basildon Crown Court at a later date in week commencing commencing 15 June.
