Man found with life-threatening injury in Harlow

The man, who is in his 50s, was discovered with a serious head injury in the early hours of Sunday morning.

An investigation is underway after a man was found with serious injuries in Harlow in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Emergency Services were called to the Esso Garage in Fourth Avenue where a man in his 50s was found with a serious head injury. He is in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Colleagues from the ambulance service called us to the Esso Garage in Fourth Avenue at just after 3.30am.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Karen Knibbs said:

"Officers are working at pace to understand the circumstances with lead to this incident.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in or near the Esso Garage in the early hours of this morning to get in touch.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving past at the time and might have captured some vital information on their dashcam.

"I know an incident like this is concerning to the public, our officers were at the scene within seven minutes, and we will be in the area to continue our enquiries."
