Man dies in serious Essex crash
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward
Detectives investigating a serious collision are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.
Police were called to A131, Braintree Road (near the nursing home) shortly before 11am on Saturday (7 December) following reports of a single vehicle collision.
The A131 was closed in both directions between Halsted and the A120 at Braintree whilst emergency services were in attendance.
Sadly, the driver, a man in his 70s, died at the scene.
Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to them to check their dash cam footage, to see if they have captured anything that would help them.
