Essex Police have confirmed a man has died following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Brentwood.

Officers and other emergency services were called to Warley Hill at around 4.35pm on Tuesday 3rd March.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 70s, from Carshalton, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

It's now been announced that he died in hospital on Friday.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said "If anyone has any information or footage that would assist with our enquiries, please get in touch."
