Man detained after disturbance in Southend

Officers have detained a man following a disturbance inside an address in Baxter Avenue, Southend on Friday morning.

They were called just after 5am.

Essex police stated:

"Our response to this incident would have been very visible to the wider community so we want to provide some reassurance that it does not, and did not, pose a risk to the wider public and does not bear similarities to other incidents that have taken place elsewhere this week."
