Man charged after serious assault in Harlow leaves boy with fractured skull
The 17-year-old is said to have sustained 'life-changing injuries'
A man's been charged after a teenage boy was left with a fractured skull following a serious assault in Harlow.
Police received a call at 9.15am on Sunday 2 February reporting a 17 year-old boy had been found injured in a car park in the Guilfords area.
He had been subjected to a serious assault and had sustained multiple serious head injuries, of which the full extent is unknown at this time, but officers have said he's got a fractured skull.
Lee Farrugia of Spruce Hill, Harlow, will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 13 February) where he will answer the following charges in relation to the investigation:
• Robbery (2 February);
• Dangerous driving, no insurance and disqualified driving (10 February).
Lee Farrugia was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Harlow on Monday afternoon (10 February).
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, he has been charged with robbery.
The 29-year-old has been further charged with the following:
• Burglary non-dwelling (Epping between 24 and 27 January)
• Theft of motor vehicle (Harlow 1 February)
• Theft of motor vehicle (between 25 and 26 January)
