Man charged after 150mph police chase on A12

A 31-year-old man has been charged, after a high-speed car chase with police on the A12 in Essex.
A motorist was driving at more than 150mph on Saturday, Essex Police said, with Metropolitan Police officers first pursuing the vehicle before Essex colleagues took over.
"The vehicle was pursued, and several tactics were used to stop it at Ongar," a spokesperson for the force said on Sunday.
Majid Masoud Saad, of Roxwell Road, Barking, east London, has been charged with drink driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
He was bailed to appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court on September 4.
