Man arrested after teenager left with broken skull following Harlow assault

Officers have arrested a man in connection with their investigation into a serious assault in Harlow in which a boy sustained a serious head injury.

The 17-year-old boy had been found injured in a car park in the Guilfords area on Sunday 2 February.

The 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Harlow on the afternoon of Monday 10 February.

The man remains in police custody for questioning.

Detective Inspector Stewart Eastbrook, who leads the investigation, said:

"I’d still encourage anyone who may have information about the incident to contact us.

No matter how small or insignificant it may seem to you, it may be something that can help my team.
