Man airlifted to hospital following serious Coggeshall crash
Officers are appealing for witnesses, especially the driver of a white Ford Fiesta
Police are appealing for anyone with information – especially the driver of a White Ford Fiesta – following a serious collision in Coggeshall.
Officers received reports of a collision involving two vehicles – a green Nissan car and a white van – in Colne Road at about 3.10pm.
At the scene they closed the road working with paramedics, firefighters and the air ambulance service.
One man was taken by the air ambulance to hospital in a serious condition.
Now, the force are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage relating to the incident to get in touch to support the investigation.
In particular, they want to hear from the driver of a white Ford Fiesta that they believe was in the area of the collision at that time on 17 March.
They believe this driver may have witnessed the collision or have vital information for the investigation.
We're told detectives want to stress they do not believe this vehicle was involved in the collision.
