Large fire at three commercial buildings in West Thurrock

Firefighters from across Essex are tackling a serious fire involving three commercial buildings in West Thurrock.

Essex Fire and Rescue were called out to London Road at around 11:30pm on Sunday (22 March) and have been working overnight to get the fire under control.

Residents in the nearby area have been advised to keep their windows and doors shut due to significant smoke.

Fire crews from London Fire Brigade have also been in attendance to help.
