Southend United manager Kieron Dyer has encouraged his team to take their chances ahead of their match against Yeovil Town.

The Shrimpers are coming off a loss and a draw to Kidderminster Harriers and Woking.

He said that his side is performing well in the data and he isn't worried about the upcoming match:

"If you look at the last two games, we've talked about missed chances which were our downfall."

"We want to play football in the right way, try to dominate the ball. We've got a lot of players who can handle the ball and have good rotations. Really looking forward to the game."

"Take your chances that's the main thing. If we take our chances then I feel that we should be sitting here with 12 points minimum."

The Shrimpers have also recently bolstered their attack with the signing of Promise Omochere on loan from Bristol Rovers.

The South Essex side currently sit in 7th place in the National League Table on ten points, three points off Boreham Wood at the top.

Dyer has made it clear that his side's goal is promotion this year.
