Police appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in Jaywick
Investigators believe the victim was targeted by a group who then left the scene in a red van
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 50s was attacked in Jaywick.
Officer say they were called to reports of an assault in Talbot Avenue at around 7am this morning (Saturday 18th July 2026).
The victim sustained injuries, including a cut to his arm and facial bruises - and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The alleged attackers, identified as two women and three men, reportedly fled in a red van.
Detectives suspect the individuals involved may be acquainted as investigations continue.
