A post-mortem examination could not determine the exact cause of death for Jake Hall, a former star of The Only Way Is Essex, who died suddenly in Mallorca last month at the age of 35.

Hall was found dead at a holiday villa on the island on 6th May with head injuries reportedly caused by a collision with a glass door, East London Coroner’s Court heard on Tuesday.

The recent inquest revealed that Hall's body was repatriated to the UK, where a post-mortem was conducted at East Ham Mortuary, but the cause of death remains unclear.

H2: Ongoing Investigation

Area coroner Nadia Persaud has requested further documentation from Spanish authorities, including toxicology reports, police reports, and witness statements to assist the investigation.

Additionally, Hall’s family members have been designated as “interested persons,” allowing them to examine evidence and question witnesses during the proceedings of a future inquest.

Tributes and Memories

Hall was known for his long-standing involvement with TOWIE, joining the show in 2015 and leaving in 2024. He also managed a menswear brand, By Jake Hall.

He shared an eight-year-old daughter, River, with Beqiri, an Albanian model and member of Real Housewives of Cheshire. Beqiri expressed her sorrow on social media, stating her heart was “shattered” by his passing.

Former TOWIE co-star Chloe Lewis, who had a notable relationship with Hall during their time on the show, also paid tribute to him, noting he was a "massive and special part" of her life.

Celebrity DJ Fat Tony was among those remembering Hall at his funeral, highlighting the “incredible turn out of love” from attendees.

The provisional date for the inquest is set for 7th December 2026.
