Investigation continues into man's death near Westcliff flats
Police seek footage and witness information after incident
The investigation into the death of a man near a tower block in Westcliff is ongoing, following a disturbance reported early on Friday, 3rd July.
Emergency services arrived at the scene on Balmoral Road shortly after 6am, where an injured man was found outside the flats and, sadly, pronounced dead.
Authorities are treating the death as unexpected, but they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Temporary Detective Superintendent Alan Blakesley has expressed continued support for the family of the deceased and has thanked the Westcliff community for their assistance with witness statements and CCTV footage.
He reassured the public that efforts are underway to establish the details surrounding Friday morning's events.
Footage from the Grampian flats area between 12am and 7am that Friday is still sought.
