Gallows Corner is set to partially re-open today after being shut for almost 11 months.

The roundabout and flyover connects two key roads that run through Essex, the A12 and A127.

Some sections of the road are set to re-open, including the East-bound flyover, Straight Road and Main Road.

Continuing water main works means that the West-bound flyover will remain shut, and the A-12 Southbound is to remain bus-only.

TFL said the intersection would re-open to traffic by the end of April, after initially being closed in June 2025.

Their website says the works are "hugely complex" and "technically challenging."

They also say that "all significant planned works are now complete, including all construction work on the flyover and resurfacing work."

Current delays have been attributed to a leak identified during testing of a newly installed water main. TFL say they are support Essex & Suffolk Water in their repairs.
