Four motorbikes seized on M11 by Essex Police
Two people have been arrested
Two people have been arrested and four motorbikes seized following reports of dangerous riding on the M11.
Essex Police say they were called shortly before 4pm on Saturday (5 April) about a group of around a dozen motorbikes travelling southbound between Newport and Stansted Airport.
It was reported the bikes were being ridden dangerously and at speed.
Specialist officers intercepted the vehicles as they headed into the Birchanger Services.
Two people were arrested.
A 35 year-old man from Enfield was questioned on suspicion of drug driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
A second man was reported for a public order offence at the scene and then de-arrested.
Four motorbikes were seized using police anti-social driving powers and a number of riders were reported for road traffic offences.
