Firefighters tackle large industrial blaze near Rettendon
People urged to stay away from the area and keep windows closed

A large fire has broken out at an industrial unit on Southend Road between East Hanningfield and Rettendon, prompting a significant response from fire services.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service is currently at the scene, with over 100 firefighters dealing with the blaze.
They have advised people living nearby or travelling in the area to keep their windows and doors closed as a precaution and are also urging people to avoid the area.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and it is unclear whether there are any injuries.
Essex County Council traffic control have confirmed Main Road is closed between the Rettendon Turnpike and South Hanningfield Road. They say the road is likely to be shut throughout the evening.
