Firefighters are working to extinguish a fire at an industrial unit near Station Approach in Harlow Mill.

Four fire crews are currently at the scene, where the blaze has broken out in a grain silo storing bitumen.

Due to a challenging water supply in the area, a water shuttle has been set up by the teams. Additional resources, including a water bowser and more crew members, have been requested to help manage the situation.

The fire is generating significant smoke, and those living nearby are advised to keep their windows and doors closed.

Officials have also urged people to avoid the area while crews bring the fire under control.

Further updates are expected as the situation develops.
