Firearm discharged at car in Harlow

A firearm's believed to have been discharged at a car in Harlow.

Police were called to the incident, in Barley Croft, at about 6pm on Saturday 22 November.

During the incident, the front windscreen was significantly damaged. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and there were no injuries reported.

As a result of analysis of the car and the area around it, we now believe a firearm has been discharged at the vehicle.

Officers say they are working to identify those responsible and the victim is being supported.

As part of the investigation, they are asking residents in Barley Croft to check CCTV and dashcam footage overnight from Friday 21 to Saturday 22.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact officers on 101.
