Four people arrested following fight in Southend

Four people have been arrested and officers are appealing for information following a reported fight in Southend.

Essex Police were called to Southchurch Park shortly after 3.50pm yesterday (16 August).

Officers arrested four people within 30 minutes of the call coming in.

One of the men was taken to hospital.

The other three people – a 17 year-old boy and two men aged 20 and 29 – are in custody being questioned on suspicion of affray.

Essex Police said: "There were a number of people in the park at the time it took place who would have seen what happened and we need witnesses to come forward."
