Fatal crash in A130 involving cyclist and two vehicles
The collision happened in the early hours of Thursday morning (26 March)
A person has died following a serious crash in the A130 in Essex involving a cyclist and two vehicles.
Emergency services were called out to the northbound carriageway in the early hours on Thursday (26 March).
The road is shut between Howe Green and Rettendon while Essex Police carry out their enquiries. The closure is expected to last several hours.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision, or or may have seen a cyclist in black clothing on a white mountain bike between the A1114 in Chelmsford and the A130 before this incident.
