Manningtree's Henry Patten is world number one in the latest tennis rankings - despite losing the Men's Doubles final at the French Open.

Patten, and partner Harri Heliovaara, were defeated by Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, the defending champions, in Paris - meaning the wait for a British winner there continues for another year, the last Brit to win Men's Doubles at Roland Garros was in 1933.

Patten and Heliovaara didn't drop a single set until the final and their performance moves them to joint first in the world rankings - which the Essex player's described as an 'amazing achievement'.
