Essex man arrested on suspicion of murder one month after death in Wales

Police believed the victim was involved in a physical altercation in a car park and was found dead at home the next day

A 40-year-old man from Essex has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with a death in Wales.

The investigation began after Linas Buta, 49, died from a head injury at a property on Bryn Glas in Rhos on Friday, 27th March.

Police believed the victim was involved in a physical altercation in a car park the Thursday.

The Essex man was arrested on Thursday, 23rd April, on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail.

Detective Inspector Rob Mahoney, the Senior Investigating Officer, is calling for anyone with information related to the case to reach out on 101 or through the website using reference number O045989.
