Two men have been arrested after a lorry packed with waste was found dumped on private land near Romford.

Police and the Environment Agency also recovered mobile phones and a laptop in Stapleford Tawney last week.

Both men have been released on bail as enquiries continue.

The arrests are the latest in a series of raids on addresses across England by the Environment Agency and police looking into large-scale waste crime, as well as fraud and money laundering.
