Eighth man jailed after Epping disorder

An eighth man has been jailed for his role in violent disorder in Epping in summer 2025.

54 year-old Philip Curson, of Brookmans Park Drive in Upminster, was found guilty of violent disorder at Chelmsford Crown Court.

He was sentenced to 27 months in prison.

In total 11 men have been convicted for their roles and eight sentenced, with immediate custodial sentences so far totalling more than 12 years.
