Two women have been arrested after police carried out raids at homes in Pilgrims Hatch this morning (3rd October).

Officers say they found suspected Class A drugs, cash, mobile phones, and bags with white powder residue.

One woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, and the other for possession of Class A drugs.

Sergeant Lauren Sharland of Brentwood Neighbourhood Policing Team said:

“We received reports of suspected drug offences taking place, so we moved quickly to identify and arrest the suspects.

“Drug dealing causes huge damage in the local community. It exploits vulnerable people and feeds into many other forms of criminality, from shoplifting to serious violence.

“Our team are committed to shutting down the supply lines and taking those responsible off the streets. If you’re dealing drugs in Brentwood, you can expect a visit from us."
