Fire crews deal with 'deliberate' wildfire in Heybridge

Fire crews have been dealing with a wildfire in Heybridge, Maldon.

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service was called on Monday (20 July 2026) and the fire was extinguished by 8.10pm.

The service says the fire was started deliberately.
