Police seek cyclist after collision with 6-year-old girl in Stanford-le-Hope

Police are appealing for a cyclist involved in a collision with a 6-year-old girl in Stanford-le-Hope to come forward.

The incident occurred on Monday, 24th November, at approximately 8.30am on a zebra crossing in Copland Road.

The collision left the girl needing stitches for a forehead injury.

The cyclist left the scene before officers arrived, and Essex Police is keen to speak to them.

A police spokesperson said: “We need to speak to the cyclist involved. If this was you, please contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information, or with CCTV, dash cam, or other footage of the incident, is urged to get in contact and quote incident 240 of 24th November.
