Gus Kenworthy, a Winter Olympian competing for Team GB, says he wants to win a medal at this year's games.

The Chelmsford-born skier has come out of retirement for the park and pipe event in Northern Italy, which will see him doing flips and tricks on walls of ice.

Gus won the silver medal in the men's slopestyle event in Sochi in 2014, and says he wants a medal this time.

He says it will feel "pretty incredible" to be at his fourth games, and says Northern Italy will be the "most exciting" place he has competed in.

He will be there for the opening ceremony, and will be practicing on a half-pipe in Switzerland a week ahead of his event.

"I feel like I don't want to be too sort of hungry for a medal specifically, but obviously that is the goal and that is what I want, but I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself, more so than I already do."

He said that in previous games he was not putting pressure on himself to get a medal, but that this year he has it as one of his goals for the games.

"It all comes down to performing. There are a lot of guys in contention for a medal, the level is super high, so I am just trying to do the best I can."
