Central Line delays in Essex due to vandalism

Commuters using the Central Line between Loughton and Epping are experiencing severe delays due to equipment damaged by vandalism.

Passengers travelling beyond Loughton are advised to take the first train there and change for further connections.

In response to the disruptions, tickets are currently being accepted on London Buses and Greater Anglia services between Liverpool Street and Harlow Town.

Transport for London has confirmed that there is a good service operating on the rest of the Central Line.
