Building fire in Saffron Walden
At its peak six crews were tackling the blaze
A fire at a building in Saffron Walden has been brought under control by Essex Fire and Rescue.
Firefighters were called out to the three-storey building at Lime Tree Court on Monday afternoon (16 March).
On arrival, crews reported the fire had damaged the roof and the third floor of the building was heavily smoke logged.
The blaze was brought under control shortly after 6pm.
