Birds of prey now patrolling Chelmsford station
Greater Anglia says using a trained hawk and falcon should help keep the station cleaner
Greater Anglia has enlisted the help of birds of prey at Chelmsford station to deter pigeons.
A trained hawk and falcon have recently been patrolling Chelmsford station to provide natural pest control.
The hawk and falcon are accompanied by a professional falconer from NBC Environment.
Krzysztof Drozd, Facilities Contracts Manager at Greater Anglia, said:
“The use of Hawks is a brilliant, non-harmful way to naturally deter pigeons and create a better environment for our passengers."
