Arrests made and vehicles seized during operation by Essex police
This happened earlier in the week
A total of 26 arrests have been made and eight stolen vehicles recovered during a three-day operation aimed at tackling the criminal use of our roads.
These took place earlier this week on October 21st and 23rd.
PC Paul Simmons said:
"Our roads should be safe spaces for everyone. When criminals use them to commit offences, they put lives at risk.
"This operation shows our commitment to keeping Essex safe and making it harder for offenders to operate."
Eight vehicles were seized due to them being driven without insurance or without a valid driving licence, while one vehicle was seized under anti-social driving legislation.
While in one vehicle stopped, officers found 27 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and a knife.
