Appeal to find dog owner after man bitten by 'Alsatian' in Maldon
A man was bitten on the wrist by the dog while walking along a public footpath on Fambridge Road
Officers in Maldon are asking for help from the public to identify the owner of a dog involved in an attack.
A man was bitten on the wrist by the dog while walking along a public footpath near a farmer's field close to the Royal Oak Pub on Fambridge Road in Maldon.
The incident happened around 5.45 pm on Thursday 18th June, and left the victim needing medical treatment.
The dog is described as a black Alsatian type and was being walked by a man described as white, bald, and aged between 40 and 50.
