Appeal after man seriously injured in Aveley
Police are treating the attack as an isolated incident

Police are investigating a serious assault in Aveley which left a man in hospital.
It happened in the recreation park, off High Street, at about 7pm on Friday (24 July).
An 18-year-old man suffered a serious injury to his chest and was taken to hospital for treatment .
He is now reported to be in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "At this stage, we’re treating the incident as isolated and we do not believe there is any wider threat to the community.
"We’re aware there were a number of witnesses to the incident and we’d encourage anyone who hasn’t yet spoken to us to please come forward to provide information.
