Appeal after Braintree assault
A man was walking to a shop when it's alleged to have happened last month
Essex Police have released an appeal for witnesses to an alleged assault in which a man was attacked by two others in Braintree.
The victim was walking to a shop in Panfield Lane on Friday 28 November, at around 9pm.
Detectives say he reported being hit on the back of the head and then kicked in the face. A member of the public came out to help the victim and the two suspects ran off.
The victim, aged in his 30s, went to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not described as serious.
The force is appealing to the member of the public who stepped in to help and anyone else with information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, to please get in contact.
