70-year-old man bitten by dog in Brentwood

Essex Police are appealing for information after a 70-year-old man in Brentwood was bitten by a dog.

The incident happened at the junction of Sawyers Hall Lane and Highland Avenue at around 7.30am on Saturday 18 April.

The man was left with a significant injury to his arm.

The dog was described as large, light brown, and with a flat nose.

The dog’s owner is described as a woman in her 50s, around 5ft 7ins tall, with blonde hair tied up in a pony tail.

Police ask that anyone with information should contact the force.
