Start date and first trailer released for Mobland season 2
The Harrigans are back!
Due to the monumental success of season one back in 2025, Paramount+ bosses were quick to renew crime drama Mobland, starring Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan, alongside his questionable Irish accent.
After filming wrapped in April this year, fans have been patiently waiting any news of an update, and now we finally have a teaser trailer!
The first teaser was released on Thursday 9th July, alongside the caption: 'Season 2 of MobLand premieres September 18 only on Paramount+.
'The Harrigans, heads of North London’s largest criminal empire, are on the brink of civil war, and their rivals are starting to notice. As tensions within the Harrigan family intensify, their ‘fixer’ Harry Da Souza is the only one that can keep them from falling apart.'

What will happen in series two?
Paramount+ say: 'The ten-episode second season will see the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy'.

Following the final episode of season one back in June 2025, Paramount+ confirmed the Guy Ritchie series had been renewed, in a post which read: 'They may have won the battle, but will they win the war? #MobLand will return for Season 2 on @paramountplus'. (sic)
As filming kicked off, bosses then confirmed Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren would all return, as well as Joanne Froggatt, Paddy Considine, Mandeep Dhillon, Daniel Betts, Anson Boon, Janet McTeer, Toby Jones, and Alex Fine.
Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond have also joined the cast for series two.
Despite reports suggesting Tom Hardy had left due to some issues behind-the-scenes, Deadline are now reporting all issues have now been resolved, meaning he will return for the third season.
