U2 will headline the halftime show during the NFL Thanksgiving Eve Game next month, and fans can stream it live on Netflix.
The American football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams takes place on Wednesday 25th November 2026 at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Netflix will stream the entire match from 1am on Wednesday 26th November in the UK, including U2’s halftime show, which celebrates the Irish rock giants’ 50th anniversary as a band.
“There's a reason U2 has headlined stadiums for decades: they don't just perform, they deliver iconic moments audiences remember forever," said Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix.
"We’re thrilled that they'll bring that same magic to the NFL stage on Netflix. It’s going to be an unforgettable night for football fans and Netflix members worldwide.”
U2 previously headlined the Super Bowl XXXVI halftime show at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans on 3rd February 2002.
Last week, U2 announced the opening shows of The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, which kicks off with two dates at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros in late February 2027.
U2 then play two nights at Sao Paulo Estádio MorumBIS and Buenos Aire Estadio River Plate in March. Beck supports at all dates.
Further 2027 dates for the Europe and North America will be announced in the coming weeks, including a return to their Irish homeland.
Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.’s The Greatest Show on Earth Tour follows the Friday 13th November release of the Irish band’s 16th studio album ‘Carnaval De Luz’.
