Two arrested after Edinburgh family reported missing found
Police on Thursday issued an appeal for help finding a father, mother, two daughters and son
Two people have been arrested after a family of five who had been reported missing were traced.
The family, comprising three children who were understood to be with their mother and father, had last been seen in Edinburgh at about 12.30pm on Thursday.
Police said on Friday morning they had been found safe and well.
A man and a woman have been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We would like to thank everyone for sharing our information.
"A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested and inquiries are ongoing."
