Woman, 94, seriously injured in crash involving motorbike in Fife
A 94-year-old woman has been seriously injured after a crash involving a motorbike in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Lochleven Road in Lochore at around 2.15pm on Monday, 25 May.
The crash involved a black Surron motorcycle and the woman, who was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to serious injuries.
A 17-year-old boy riding the motorbike was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police closed the road for around an hour while enquiries were carried out.
The teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Sergeant Tom Aitken said officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
He said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash and not yet spoken to police to contact us.
“We are also appealing to anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
