Woman in her 80s injured in Hull supermarket car park

Officers investigating a collision involving a van and a pedestrian in a supermarket car park on Sutton Road, Hull, on Saturday, 27 December 2025, are appealing for witnesses.

It was reported that at around 3pm, a woman was walking in the car park, when she was involved in a collision with a white campervan that was reversing.

Emergency services attended and an 87-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. The driver of the van remained at the scene.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify potential witnesses, who reportedly stopped at the time of the collision to assist.

Officers continue to pursue lines of enquiry to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage from around that time, to call 101, quoting investigation reference 25*179479.
