Three arrested after man was left in critical condition in Hull

Three men have been arrested in Hull after a serious assault on a 43-year-old man.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the attack at a property in Shannon Road yesterday morning (4th December).

Two 44-year-old men and a 52-year-old man were detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

One of the 44-year-olds was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers.

A scene guard is in plane on Shannon Road as enquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Lloyd Sharkett said, "Those in the vicinity can expect to see an increased number of officers and I would ask anyone with concerns to please speak to them.

“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that may assist officers with their enquiries, including CCTV or dashcam footage, is urged to call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 149 of 4 December 2025.”
