Pride in Place event allows the public to have their say
The event will take place at the Oasis Academy in Immingham next week.
Plans to improve facilities, tackle anti-social behaviour and create more opportunities for young people are being shaped by local residents.
Residents in Immingham, Habrough and Stallingborough can help shape a ten-year plan for their communities at the Pride in Place event next Wednesday.
It will take place at Oasis Academy in Immingham where the Pride in Place Board will meet.
Ten year plan will be submitted to Government later this year. A draft plan of the vision will be made available.
Katie Brown, Interim Chair of the Pride in Place Board, said: “We would like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us, complete surveys and share their ideas. The message we’ve heard is clear – people are proud of their towns and want to see investment that supports young people, strengthens communities and improves local facilities.
“The Meet the Board event is an important opportunity for residents to see how their feedback is shaping plans for the future and to help us refine our priorities before we finalise our vision for the next 10 years.”
Elaine Norton, Vice Chair of the Pride in Place Board, said: “The response from residents has been incredibly valuable and has given us a clear understanding of what matters most to people living in Immingham, Habrough and Stallingborough. We’re committed to ensuring local voices remain at the heart of our plans, and this event is another opportunity for residents to help shape the future of their communities.
“We want people to come along, meet the Board, see how their ideas and feedback are influencing our priorities, and continue working with us to create a long-term vision that reflects the ambitions and aspirations of local people.”
